I had Gigafast installed on the 18th November, once installed the engineer told me that cabling work needed to be done outside, the word he used was "it wasn't spliced", while other flats in my building all have it working. He assured me this would be done 1-2 days and took my number, telling me he would update me.
2 days pass, no call, nothing. Contact vodafone and they tell me it would be fixed by the 23rd as they don't work weekends. Still not fixed by the 23rd, contact vodafone again, this time I am told it will be fixed by the 25th.
The 25th comes and still not fixed, contact them again, and I am told it will be fixed by the 30th...
Just spoke to them again, and they tell me it will be fixed tomorrow (2nd Dec). Now, I do not believe the person on the phone at all. My experience with customer service has been awful, it appears none of them have any idea what they are doing.
I've not been contacted once by vodafone to update me, I have always had to contact them when the date I was promised it would be fixed has passed.
Has anyone else experienced this? I get no where with customer service, just broken promises on a fix date.
I am regretting getting this installed now, it's just not worth the hassle.
