@VPMagpie or look into business options. With a business account you can set up a local ip and local routing at no extra charge.

Too late to edit but just realised my gaming doesn't suffer because I run it through my own VPN on a vps in London.

Yet another option.

I tried using a VPN london server a few years ago on a gaming router with VPN capabilities and just seemed to rubber band everywhere in  a VPN .

VPS ive never heard of before , how does that work ?

what is a local IP and routing how would the routing side of things work ?

also heard something about contention ratios before on business broadbands but i think thats more for speed right ?

no FTTP available yet

but yeah i just want the best experience , i play for money you see so when i shoot 1st die 1st against players that are worse than average it really grinds my gears because they win a gunfight all because of connection .

Like i said i feel like people are a 1nd ahead of me but when my lines been tweaked before ive had it the best possible where it felt like my lines way more responsive , felt really good and thats what you want as a gamer that plays for money , which is another reason why im asking so many question and trying to get a solution because i dont just game for fun . Im gaming for money and i need it the best and i really do appreciate everyones help and suggestions

If your broadband problems are costing you money, perhaps consider going to an ISP who have a reputation for being more "responsive" to their customers. Someone like Zen would come to mind, although I've never tried them.

i was tryna haggle a good deal with them but they said because they aint getting alot of customers coming in they cant haggle deals so i didnt bother .

Currently im switching to BT as these last couple days ive asked Staff in the BT forums if they can edit the lines through forums like for SNR / INTERLEAVE / DSL PROFILES  , which thats what im needing so i can get my line tweaked to maximum performance for what i need my line to do .

Haggling a good deal (it's what I do) is not always conducive to getting the best ISP. Those that charge the least (usually) have the least control over the service, because they just buy wholesale and sell it on for whatever they can get.

If you do go to BT (or anyone else) please do come back and let us know how it goes, I'm genuinely interested to see if your service could be improved by altering your line attributes.

I suspect things may be better on another ISP, but probably due to different routing rather then the copper connection, which will be the same. (although that doesn't seem to have been your experience previously)
