PS4

Recently joined Vodafone broadband and it is working fine, however it won’t work with my PS4. It will connect in the settings but when I test connection it will say failed on ‘internet connection’ and come up with the message ‘your internet service provider out your router might be preventing the PS4 from connecting to the internet. Make sure you can connect to the internet via the same network as the PS4 by testing the connection using you PC or smartphone. (CE-39984-3). I’ve looked in this forum and other but can’t find a solution. Gaming is a big part of why I joined Vodafone so I really need a solution ASAP.

Thanks for linking those threads. Unfortunately I’ve tried all the suggestions with no luck. I may just have to call the helpline and see what they can do for me.

I managed to fix the PS4 issue by changing the dns settings to 8.8.8.8 and they took off the content restrictions for social media too.
