Hello

Since switching to Voda fibre, ive been unable to logon to my Box sync desktop software (it allows you to use a folder on your computer to sync with your cloud account)

Every time i do i get the attached alert.  It seems to say the security certificate is out of date i think on Vodafones side?

It allows you to install the certificate but since it expires in Dec 18, i keep getting the same error?

Thanks

The usual culprit is the Vodafone DNS server which seems to redirect traffic to its servers (indiscriminately) for content filtering. Try using a public DNS server such as 8.8.8.8 instead.

Anyone who values their privacy should not be using the VF DNS server as it amounts to a MITM (man-in-the-middle) attack. While I am not an expert in cryptography, I believe the certificate they install on users' systems enables https traffic, routed to their servers courtesy of their DNS server, to be read in plaintext.

Thanks so much

That seemed to do it!
