Here's the proof of throttling - Once I vpn out of the vodafone throttling wall twitch is working perfect at full video source.

PROOF of  throttling  - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWqlPPGcv6Q

It looks like throttling is around between 3.8 - 4 - once I hit up onto the vpn you will notice i'm up at around 10 and playback is perfect

There's too many other customers on here reporting the exact same issue for it to be a problem our side - I've tested multiple routers etc to rule that out - I created this new thread because now we can see it really is a vodafone problem.

this is my speed

Can you give an estimation when this will be changed back?

I have just lodged my complaint with ofcom also.

Mine is in :Smiling:

We need to put this in all the speed related threads so it gets everyone onboard.

Mines in - actually last night just before I started a new thread with the Ofcom link - which got deleted by the mods:Horror_Face::Angry_Face:

I referenced the EU rules on Open Internet - Regulation ( EU ) 2015/2120 in mine (quick before Brexit!!!) because we affected customers are effectively having certain services restricted, whilst some services and some customers are not.

Paragraph 8 (page 2) states that "When providing internet access services, providers of those services should treat all traffic equally, without discrimination, restriction or interference........."

I do appreciate that traffic management may be necessary to prevent the whole network failing, but this is covered in Paragraph 9 "Reasonable traffic management measures applied by providers of internet access services should be transparent, non-discrimintory and proportionate..........."

Form Completed

The very vague responses to what is actually been done so far from Phil doesn't leave me with much confidence the issue's will be resolved anytime soon.

I said similar to that but not as eloquently as you :Smiling:

Jimbo

I'm waiting. No point don't trust Phil. I have a feeling it will be resolved in 2-3 months.

Gigafast getting installed in Peterborough, Aberdeen and Milton Keynes.

Most of Gigafast customers reporting speeds are 30-40 Mbps (minimum should be 100Mbps). From Thinkbroadband.com

I feel VF is on suicide route if wouldn't resolve this. I'm watching and hoping

Filed a complaint with ofcom as well.

I just had a phone call from Tech 2 with update. He said VF replaced equipment on my Exchange and they believe speed and IP TV streaming should be fixed now. Tech 2 asked to do tests but I'm not at home. Will do tonight

Hopefully an end to your problems Mozambezi

I am still awaiting a call back. I was informed on Monday that they had made adjustments to my speed...so far single speed downloads are still awful.
