Maximum Transmission Unit MTU

Hi all,

I am going round in circles with my broadband connection so looking for anyone who may be able to advise.

I am working from home at the moment through a work VPN which slows my internet down, this is fine for day to day work, but I have to use mobile data for video and voice calls, this is not ideal.

My work tech team have advised me that my Maximum Transmission Unit MTU packet size needs to be 1500, to improve this situation but mine is 1450.

I have tried to talk to the vodafone broadband team about this and they do not know what I am talking about, and keep sending me to different departments.

I can't find anyway in the router settings to upgrade the MTU.

So just wanted to check is anyone else having similar issues and did you get it resolved?

Cheers
