So by the look of it, the modem is a Huawei. probably the HG612V3b. I guess I'd have to ask what the old stats used to be with the VF router. The Huawei modems often have a slightly lower download speed, but higher upload speed than the VF router. Also if you've previously had issues speed-wise, it is the cabinet that decides the speed and might not increase it until a couple of weeks have passed!
