I've been reasonably happy with the service until the last 3-4 days where browsing speeds have been terrible, the broadband app tells me my sync speed is 55.3Mbps but speed test shows a download of approx 2.5Mbps and the same for upload. Pinging google DNS shows intermittent results with 11% loss over 574 pings.

I work as a systems administrator. What's more annoying about this is just that nobody as Vodafone seems to know what's going on, or there is so little communication within the company that the cause for this just isn't trickling down.
This has been happening just over a week for me, and you can see from the following chart this always happens during peak times;
I'm glad that other people are at least having this issue; it's just so irritating that nobody from Vodafone is actually trying to find the root network cause on their end and are directing people to social media and L1 support.
Definitely be cancelling when I can.

i can cancel now. i am out of conbtract but there is other reasons i'd rather stay with vodafone but not saying why as it will probabkly cause even further throttling lol.. but YET again 6th night on trot.. been perfect all day.. gets past 6:00 pm and voila.. instant bandwidth problems.. Will post YET AGAIN after 9:00 pm when it seems to be worse and drops below 2 megs.

Just about had enough now.. been same so far all day as its weekend. cant watch netflix even struggling with youtube. canceling first thing monday if its still same. its like being back on a 56k modem..
absolutely shocking..
what happened to all my sub 2 mb speed shots. i see youve left the fastest one of the 9 or 10 on though.. cant be having that lol.

lol here we go again. unable to stream.. cant even open google web page. this is all hard wired via ethernet from a PC. i gave you 7 days and nothing. getting worse if anything..
heres early morning when it is fine..12:00 pm
then here now at 6:00 pm bang on.. will get worse again as the night wears on.
this is google failing to load 3 times at 6:00 PM
so glad i'm free of contract, cant believe how a service can drop so quickly and so drasticaly.been with them 2 years and all was fine. odd 1 or 2 problems but it was a national thing which they admited to and it took 2 days to sort. if they admited to this instead of blaming wifi channels lol. total cop out and joke. if i knew it was a problem their end and they admited ir and said it would be fixed by xxx date i'd have given them the benefit of the doubt and hung on. i'm sorry for the rest of you as its not a solution but to from 64 megs to under 2 in the space of a few weeks and to contantly stay at 2 mb every night after 6 is beyond a joke. shame on vodafone for lack of trust and lack of communication..

For the last few days I’ve been having the same issues. Router network speed is fine. 59Mbs However Internet speeds are very slow. 9 -15 Mbs . After router reboot goes back to 40+Mbs for a short time.
Not tried to change the DNS's yet and I have not contacted customer support. I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth it.

i have the same problem with browsing is so slow at evenings but the strange thing is my speed when I check at speedtest gives 67-70 Mb which is fine ! But I am not getting that since Everything is so slow when browsing even if I change the channels

I have unfortunately joined Vodafone two months ago from BT. The first month everything was fine, there wasn't an issue with browsing and speed at evenings.
Now for everyday from 6-11 pm , I cannot browse anything or enter new websites that I didn't visit before although the speed if I check at speedtest.com is given around 67Mb. However, this speed doesn't reflect what I am experiencing when I browse !! . The websites take ages to load while when I switch to my mobile data, they open instantly.
i have tried everything since I have a PhD in Communication Engineering:
1- channel changes
2- rebooting, etc
3- tried different devices
my question now, I don't want to argue and waste my time with the customer service/ support, I know I will end up frustrating by thier different excuses, how can I cancel for free ? Because I am no satisfied with what is happening at the evenings at all . I will make videos and prove what is going on to them
