Dell 910 Not Working With Pay As You Go Vodafone Sim Card

I have just purchased a Dell 910 from PC World and they said that i can just put a pay as you go vodafone sim card in and it will work but i can get it to work at all after spending over a hour on the phone to the broadband support i give up and thought i would try these forums instead.

The sim is brand new and has £21 credit

Hi Xyidx,

The Vodafone Mobile Connect software is pre-configured to use Contract SIM cards. If you want to use a Pay-as-you-Go SIM card, you'll need to change the settings in the software to reflect this. You should be able to do this fairly easily from the Settings Menu in The VMC software.

Click on Settings and then Account Type, and switch from Contract to Pre-Pay.
