Dell Mini Sim Card Holder Fault

Hi

Ive had my mini for six months and have often removed and replaced the sim card.

Today the mechanism refuses to accept the sim card when inserted. It seems that the spring mechanism has locked solid and won't let the card click into place.

Has any one else experienced this? Can anyone suggest a solution?

Hiya mate, it sounds faulty to me.

Vodafone can't repair it so your next step is to contact dell who offer a 2 year warranty.

Oh dear! That sounds like a bit of a tricky problem you have there

Unfortunately, Mr Nice is right, this isn't something you can fix. You will need to contact Dell under the terms of your warranty to get this resolved. You should be able to find their number in your documentation, or in the Technical Support program installed on the Mini itself
