Google Reader Still Broken

Google Reader is still very broken on Vodafone, any news of a fix?

I had an email from one of your techs last Friday, asking for my login details for Google Reader - since this is the entire access to a Google Account including Gmail, I naturally refused, and suggested he set up his own test account. He hasn't had the manners to reply.

Is it normal for your techs to overstep the mark in this way? There's no way I'm giving out personal details for a third party service to Vodafone tech support - would you ask for them if I was having trouble with online banking?

I'd appreciate it if you fixed the problem and educated your tech 'specialists' about the nature of sensible security.

Hi Goodbye harmoney

I agree 100%, Google is a 3rd party entity and as you and I both know, one username accounts for all, in my case it's my calendar, contact, Google checkout, email, DOCS (some extremely important docs on that one), latitude...the list goes on. Anyway the point is I agree.

We'll need some more details as to what is happening; I assume you're having problems accessing/using reader while browsing on the usb modem, is this correct? We'd need to simulate this ourselves on a usb connection, our office Pc's are admin locked and run on a private proxy, as such the modems wouldn't install, it would have to be a private computer, :)

Which version of VMC are you using, is it the VMC Lite or VMC 9.3?

Furthermore, if any other users are experiencing the same problems or have any insight their contributions are most welcome.

Thanks

FWIW, I *was* having issues with Google Reader until this week. When I attempted at one point it just started working.

Voda clearly changed something as I made no changes at my end. Goodbye Harmony - have you tried again?
