Orange F data roaming

Hi,

I am currently on holiday in France and so can I use data roaming without extra charge. The network my phone automatically connects to is called F SFR but the this network is awful at allowing me to go online.

Another option is for me to manually select ‘Orange F’ will I be charged for using this network?

Thanks

Hi @Ashleyrogers

France is a roam free destination and you are able to roam on any network where you are able to get a connection.  All roaming networks are charged the same.

My experience of roaming (with a phone) is that in some countries you may see a range of networks, but only some of them will have any sort of cross-charging arrangement with Vodafone UK. As @AnnS says, the charge (or lack of it when roaming in Europe) will be the same for any network which will let you connect to it, but some networks simply won't let you connect.
