Yesterday my broadband went live. I connected my router but upon power up it gets stuck fetching an IP address and eventually gives up and reports No Connection / No IP address. I have spoken via online chat (4 sessions) where the operator tells me they have made configuration changes at their end and to reboot my router for the issue to be resolved. Each time the operator then ends the chat. I re boot my router but still have the same issue.
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue of the router not being able to assign itself an IP address on startup?

Apologies for our delayed reply @DazWozUK. If you're still experiencing a problem with your router obtaining an IP address, please contact us through the link in the private message I've sent and one of our Broadband specialists will be able to look into this for you.

Thank you for your reply. The issue is resolved now. No idea how it was fixed as I was only told that it was external too my property.
