Sending E-mail Via K3565 Usb Payg Stick

I can recieve e-mail from my account using the stick but when I try to send I get an error message that either the SSL was not set up (but it is) or the SMTP settings were incorrect (which they are not). I am trying to send via my freeserve e-mail account - is this something I cannot do or am I missing something?

Just a quick thought whilst I'm moderating, have you got the outgoing server address as send.vodafone.net (or smtp.vodafone.net if your service uses SMTP authentication?)

Yes I have. I didn't have, but then set up a separate account with the send.vodaphone.net and it still didn't work.
