Stopping Vodafone stupidity

Two years ago I tried to buy a Vodafone service which I never received and therefore cancelled. After wasting hours and hours of my time and theirs they agreed to cancel the account. Then after months they passed the ‘debt’ to Ardent debt collectors. After wasting time they dropped it. Now after months I’ve received another Vodafone letter saying they’ve passed the ‘debt’ to Lowell Financial. Can I make a charge against Vodafone for all the hassle they’ve caused?

Your certainly entitled to have this fully resolved and investigated @jimfarrow and if upheld this debt removed.

Your at the right place so please let the Vodafone Social Media Team here catch up with your thread and they'll help you further.

To add > As this has been passed to a Debt Collection Company I would also suggest to check your own Credit File to see if a default marker has been applied.

Experian as well as other Credit Houses can provide a current copy of your file.

You could also consider a Notice of Correction if there is a default showing. More info in Default-on-your-Credit-File-And-How-to-add-a-Notice-of-Correction.

I wish you all the best with this situation.

My problem is this all takes time and I'm in an alligator infested swamp trying to do a self build so haven't got time to sort out what is Vodafones' apalling processes. I wonder if sending the CEO might have an impact?
