Welcome to Vodafone Community
Sid — all the mobile operators use the British Board of Film Classification to provide an independent framework for content control, and contact details for each mobile operator for use with regard to content control are available through the BBFC here.
Symantec currently provides website classification for Vodafone and others, and you can check Symantec's classification of a site here.
Oddly, your site — nesc.co.uk — is currently showing as classified as "pornography". There is a link on the page to report incorrect entries to Symantec for review for reclassification.
It looks like my compay site is also being blocked by Vodafone, www.onetwofour.com
We are a content/design agency and have no inapropriate content. It looks to me like the site has been miscategorised.
Can you help?
Hi tech team
i'm vodafone customer but when i was check my web site from my phone its say blocked My website but no any adult picture or video this is only hollywood movies [removed according to House Rules]
? please re check my website because now no one see website.
Could you tell me wich one for age 16 so i will be delete that video ?
Thank you very much for replay my message.
Going to add my name to the list.
My personal blog (anarchist-nomad.livejournal.com) has been blocked by content control. I don't see anything in my blog that would merit such treatment. Most posts are either about my international travels, my research as a particle physicist, or my fitness regimen. Or theatre, particularly Shakespeare. (Does Shakespeare now merit censorship?)
Please remove my blog from your filter. Thank you very much, and have a good afternoon.
Our website [removed according to House Rules] is also being flagged as restricted access by Vodafone. The site sells luxury train trips so I'm not sure why this would be.
Tech Team, please could you review and remove the retricted access flag or let me know why you think we are in violation ASAP as this will be affecting our business.
My website is being blocked by the content filter even though it has been correctly categorised and does not contravene any of the filter policies.
I have spoken to a support agent on the 11th who could only recommend that I go through the process of recategorising it. The issue is, the categories are correct and my website is still being blocked by Content Control.
[removed according to House Rules] is the website and Blue Coat reports that it is categorised as travel.
Any help in this matter will be appreciated, thanks!
(Edit: Unsure as to how my link breaks the house rules as it is very much contextual, but if a Tech Team member needs the link, I'll happily provide it upon request.)
