apple TV and vodaphone wifi mobile not working

I have set up a Huawei Vodaphone R216 wifi device for my father so he can get access to the internet where they live. I have added his mac desktop and the apple TV to the device. Both devices can see the internet but can not connect to each other.

does this device work as anewtwork hub or do they just connect to the internet.

can i connect a wifi hub to the Huawei R216 so that the apple tv and mac desktop can see each other  and then also access the internet.

@project41 I'm sorry to see you're experiencing issues connecting your R216 with the Apple TV and Mac.

You should be able to connect the devices to MiFi - can you let us know if you have the latest software for the R216?

Have you tested any other Wi-Fi devices (such as a laptop or tablet) and are they able to connect without any issues?

firstly how can i tell what is the latest version and how do i find it ?

I have 3 devices connected to the R216 and they all connect to the internet no proble.

I have a mac desktop

apple tv

andriod tablet

the problem is that the apple tv and mac desktop can not see each other so they are not routing information
