3G to 4G

I keep getting messages about 3G being switched off.  

in my village 3G is the main signal with 4G kicking in occasionally.  

Will the 4G signal be improved to cover the 3G only area?

Yes @61DGH , the 3G network is being switched off to release spectrum to focus on strengthening the 4G and 5G networks, when the upgrades have been completed you my find your signal improves.  Vodafone have further information here: We’re switching off 3G in 2023 

 

The only thing you can do at this time is register for updates on the network status checker at the top of the page, you will then be notified if there are any improvements.
