5G Disabled On Voxi Endless Plan

Anyone else on Voxi Endless Data Plan?

 

It would seem 5G is one of the selling points yet its locked off sim side on network side (On Both voxi sims i have not just 1).

 

Cellmapper indicates 5G State is Restricted / Disabled on the voxi sim.

 

When i use another Vodafone sim (Business sim) it connects fine, i have included 2 screenshots 1 with voxi sim other with Vodafone Business Sim.

 

Both where done on the same phone (A07#########G)

Can you just clarify that on a Samsung a7 using a Vodafone business sim card your phone is displaying 5G and your getting those speeds @DanielMeah1D 

 

I didn't think that model of Samsung phone has 5G capability.

The forum filters are misbehaving  @DanielMeah1D 

 

Every link including the official Samsung options shows the a7 as not being 5G capable.

 

Who supplied the phone to you ?

Is 5G displayed in the phones status bar and if so can you screen shot it please along with the about phone details of the phone found in Settings, about phone.

This should show it as a 5G spec phone.

For example my Samsung Note 10+ 5G shows as.....Screenshot_20200329-174740_Settings.jpg

Hi

 

as said this is further than a few settings. i have used cellmapper to confirm (see pics i posted) that 5G is disabled network side. the phone side its all enabled, i can confirm this because of the voda business sim connects to NR/5/g fine.

So if a person is on a 5G plan and 5G is available where you are and via the phone and shows in its connection settings I would suggest to have a word with the Voxi Team via Voxi.co.uk/contact-us so your account can be checked at your account level.

Tried all that sadly hence why i am here, please they do not know technical stuff just very basic stuff, for example when i told them about cellmapper and 5G state etc they havent a clue.

I've not seen any recent posts as far as I can reasonably remember from Voxi Customers.

Maybe Try a forum search.
