Hi there
So I have new phones, new sim cards and fault still persists.
Messages are not getting through to the receiving phone, it may take hours or days. This is especially worse when the receiving phone has been switched off overnight and then switched on in the morning after the message has been sent.

@djs1970 I've looked at your local serving site (4833) and this is performing as expected.
So we can look into this further, I've sent you a private message with details on how to get in touch by email.
We'll need this information in order to raise any cases with our Network Engineers, so this can be fully investigated.

I have sent the message back as requested. I'm guessing I will be wasting my time and money again doing the investigations for Vodafone again, just like last time!
