Been a while since it has been off but the mast here is playing up again sporadically over the last few weeks but been off last couple of days. Its the same for everyone in the village so its not a handset issue etc. We get outages all the time

The Network Checker is reporting...

We're trying to fix a network issue which might be affecting calls coverage. It’s now being investigated. We'll update this page as soon as we know more.

It also shows the area is very patchy for signal. 

Vodafone Network Checker.

Options such as a Sure Signal that works off Home Broadband to create a 3G signal in the home will help but does cost £69 for the device. 
 
Another option for people on an eligible tariffs and phones is Vodafone Calling Over Wifi.

Thanks for reply..yep I have looked at that . My iPhone 5s doesn't support calling over wifi

You're welcome.  

That's right Vodafone haven't included that iPhone model into the eligible selection for Calling Over Wifi. 

The Sure Signal could still be an option however for signal at home.
