Poor 3G coverage causes drop of calls

This problems occurred with Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8 with Vodafone.
When 3G coverage is poor this leads to decreased voice signal as indicated by decrease number of vertical bars which sometimes causes call drops.
When I change network mode to 2G (which is strong), the voice signal becomes good and calls never drop.

Hi @waelm2010

If 3G signal is weak then switching to 2G is a generic way of stabilising call quality.

Can you please launch the following Vodafone Link and copy and paste the template with your answers back here.

@waelm2010 I get exactly the same problem (LG G5)

I've no idea how Vodafone determine it's time to move you onto 2G but however they do it it doesn't really work. I frequently have multiple dropped calls a day whilst travelling, i've given up trying to get a resolution, gotten used to hanging up and calling back.
