One location. My home. I need to travel to the end of my front path

3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone?
Yes
4) What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs?
I cannot make calls properly. I can hear the person on the other end but they cannot hear me. 

If someone calls me the call often does not connect to my phone & goes straight to VM. I don’t get a notification of a missed call


5) Does this happen on 2G, 3G, 4G or all?

Hi @Germgirl

 

On looking at the network checker I note two things. 

 

1, Recent maintenance work has just been completed which can sometimes take a few days to fully settle down. 

"Great news – we've recently carried out some maintenance in this area to help improve our mobile network, we’re sorry if you experienced any issues with your service between 22:00 31 Jan 2018 and 05:00 01 Feb 2018. Still having trouble? Please get in touch with us free on 191 from a Vodafone mobile or 03333 040 191 from any other UK mobile or landline (standard call charges apply)."

 

2. On zooming out on the map it shows surrounding masts at issue which could be having an impact on your local Network Masts if Vodafone are re routing network traffic to compensate. 

"It looks like something might be up with our mobile network in this area at the moment – we’re sorry if you’re experiencing any issues when using your service. Rest assured, we’re on the case and we’ll update this page as soon as we know more."

 

I hope signal clears up for you asap.
