I have been with Vodafone since November and because of the 3G turnoff my phone is constantly on E or 2G network.
4G/5G somewhat works in towns and citys but where I am its on 2G (network checker says it should be ok indoors and outdoors at home)
When driving to different places of work each day, its on 2G 99% of the time and I am then unable to receive calls trough data or access the internet.
Vodafone refuse to acknowledge that this is due to the 3G switchoff. And have said it has to be something on my part. So, I have swapped from e-Sim to physical sim (and back) with the same issues. Swapped devices to a Samsung Galaxy S25, and back to the iPhone to the same issues. My work device, on an Irish provider would roam on Vodafone UK and also has the same issues.
I have called customer support, technical support and availed of Live Chat to cancel my contract but no one seems to listen or understand.
Is there any way to sucessfully cancel the sim only contract to allow me the freedom to move back to my previous provider that gave me no issues?
