I close my account several months ago.  My number is no longer recognised and I have no account to log into on app.  The account has always shown as active on my credit report but with a zero balance.  Until today when a £9 charge has gone on.   I have no phone number linked and no way to even pay this if I wanted to.  It has been at zero for several months.   I am more worried as I can't pay it will impact my credit score as a debt.   Any advice is appreciated.

Your right to get this looked into.

If you call 03333040191 and ignore any prompts asking yo key in your mobile number it should change go press 1 for Payg or 2 for Pay Monthly to speak to an agent.

Or engage with the Vodafone Social Media Teams via Facebook messenger or Twitter DM as they have account access to be able to help.

Once this has been paid or investigated and resolved I'd suggest just yo double check your Credit File.
