I have a default from 5 years ago on my credit file. I need to get this satisfied as applying for mortgages. As it was 5 years ago I don't have any letters for who to contact. I don't even have the mobile phone details anymore. Can someone advise who I can contact about this? Thanks

If a default was warranted then it would typically remain on a credit file for 6 years.

" A default will stay on your credit file for six years from the date of default, regardless of whether you pay off the debt. "

However do take up @Steph advice to contact the Vodafone Social Media Teams so they can look at this for you.
