NUC code not working

I have recieved my NUC code and it does not unlock my phone when entered. I have checked both the NUC number and the IMEI number and both are correct. Please help. thanks.

My phone is a Sony Xperia Z3

Is the alternative sim card your using activated ?

i.e. Connects to mobile data.

If it is then customer service on 191 or Live Chat can give you the Nuc email address to use.

New SIM is not yet activated. The instructions given say unlock first then activate
