I've gotten an iPhone 6s expecting it to be unlocked but my Vodafone Ireland SIM won't work with the phone. It seems to be locked to Vodafone UK. How can I get an a unlock code to be able to use it with my Vodafone Ireland SIM?
I tried the form online but it is requesting me a UK mobile number and I don't have a UK mobile number but Republic of Ireland number.
Even tho they both share the Vodafone Banner your sim wont as you've found out work.

Ask the original owner to request its unlock.
Send the iPhone to someone you know in the UK and they use a Vodafone payg sim card in the iPhone for 30 days making calls etc and then request the unlock using the new Payg details and then send it back to you.
See if there is a highstreet store who advertises they unlock iPhone's.
Sell it on and use the funds to buy one that works on your network.
