Cortana for Lumia 520?

Hi there,

So recently I upgraded my phone OS to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8. Part of this update was to get Cortana, Microsoft's answer to Siri, on my phone – however it hasn't turned up anywhere. I've troubleshooted and tried my best to work out what's up but I can't find anything. I understand Cortana is only available in certain countries/regions but as far as I'm aware it is available for UK users? And just for the record, I have checked all my regional settings/languages/keyboards etc. and they are all set to English (UK). So is there anything else I need to tweak to get this running or is it an issue I have to raise with Vodafone and/or Microsoft themselves?

Hi. I've not used a Lumia 520 but from reading around on some of the Nokia and Microsoft forums they mention 1) changing the language over didn't work straight away 2) the service only started working once they moved their relevant language (US, UK etc) to the very top of the settings list. Do you have an option to try this?

i think it only comes with 8.1.1 in the uk.

On some phones you can change the language to us though.
