I live in a building that has two separate dwellings. Both of us have Vodafone Home Fibre Broadband and have the same make and model of Vodafone Router. Both routers have the same URL, i.e. http://192.168.1.1
Frequently I get a message saying that “Windows has detected an IP Address Conflict”. I am using a laptop with Windows 7 Professional.
Is it possible to change the IP address of my Router and, if so, how please?

@trubmij Uh oh, I can understand how annoying that would be 🤦
Please get in touch with us either by contacting our Broadband Live Chat team, or by giving us a call on 08080 034 511 (free from all UK landlines and mobiles) with lines open between 8am and 8pm, seven days a week.
Explain you problem and ask the team for a Static IP, these addresses remain the same and are used by businesses for private internet browsing.
You can find more information on our IP user guide here, along with instructions on how to apply this. If you have any issues at all, feel free to pop back to, we'll be more than happy to help.
Keep us updated and let us know how you get on 👍
