Nokia Lumia 520 - Won't Charge Up.

I have recently purchased a Nokia Lumia 520, on which I let the battery run down and now when i put it on to charge i get a flashing red battery with a plus sign through it. I would return it to the shop but i have had to come abroad for a couple of months I am just hoping someone could help me with this situation.

Thanks for posting.

The easiest test would be to see if the charger works with another phone.

Can you give that a go for me?

If it does, the phone could be faulty. If it doesn't, try another charger

I don't have another compatible phone with the same charger.

But i have tried with the P.C. Charger and I am getting the same problem.

So, my nokia stopped charging on any cable/charger. I changed the battery for a new one... no go. so I got a knife and very gently levered the pins in the charging socket. Bingo, problem solved.
