I moved from TalkTalk to Vodafone 2 months ago, have put in a request with customer services twice and been told my old number will be transferred twice, nothing has been done. Recently I've been told to contact my old provider TalkTalk and BT to resolve the issue, which has proved equally fruitless.
I've seen plenty of topics about this exact same issue, and I'm currently very unhappy with the lies and service I'm receiving from Vodafone so far.
Please resolve this.

You shouldn't need to contact anyone about this. If we're your new provider, we'll contact Opennreach about this. We'll be able to help, however as this is account related, we need you to contact us by another method.

Hello, I have followed advice and been bounced again between Vodafone and my old TalkTalk provider.
Vodafone tell me TalkTalk own the old phone number.
TalkTalk tell me the old phone number has been disconnected and has not yet been reassigned to anybody else.
Please can I have my old landline number back, I regret ever switching providers.

There’s a period of time where we can apply to take over a number, however If it goes beyond this, then it may be too late.
As this relates directly to your account, I can’t clarify anything on the forum unfortunately, however you could contact us again via the PM I sent if we need to look into this further.
