Has anyone who signed up for the "free" apple tv deal found anything "free"on apple tv worth watching?

Seems to me like most things apple you never stop paying. 

I am genuinely curious as I've not been able to find anything to watch that's included in the monthly rental.

I've had mine for 6 months, and no I haven't watched anything on Apple+ and certainly won't be renewing the subscription after the free year. However I have used it for my other subscription services plus a couple of free ones and the on-demand channels. (my TV isn't smart).

I'm not paying any "monthy rental" for it, are you?

Hi, I'm glad it's not just me re the apple content. It is currently part of the free option but like you I have absolutely no plans to continue with apple tv at the end of the contract. In fact its now back in its box and will probably stay there.
