Are the prices fixed with a new broadband contract?

I am looking for a new broadband provider and Vodafone are offering some good deals at the moment. With the 24 month contracts are the prices fixed i.e. will not go during the length of the contract?

It's in Vodafone's Terms and Conditions (end of section 4) that they will increase their prices by the current RPI every April.  In practice, this is often not the case.

I'm on Superfast Extra (To get the Apple TV 4K box and included phone calls) and it says "No price rises while in contract". Will let you know if it's true in about 2 years.

I am in my second contract period (about four months left) - no price increases applied during either period although it is fair to say that the price for my superfast 2 dropped for contract period two.

I think the mid term increases are  perhaps more prevalent on mobile phone contracts.
