Customers using Vodafone broadband cannot access Autotrader image URLs

Good morning,

I work for Autotrader UK (autotrader.co.uk) we have had several reports from our customers over the last few days that they cannot load images on our website.

Our images are hosted on the following domain: m.atcdn.co.uk

An example of a complete URL is:  https://m.atcdn.co.uk/a/media/w800h600/46413b57310340a793199edbe3976b50.jpg

Customers using Vodafone ISP get a connection refused error when accessing links from this domain. This is only affecting Vodafone customers. When the customer changes their DNS server from the automatic option to Google (8.8.8.8) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) the links load fine, this makes us believe it is the Vodafone DNS server or some other block causing the connection error.

We have tried raising this via the normal support process but we're not really getting anywhere, hoping someone on here can help.

How utterly embarassing that a national organisation has to resort to posting on a public forum to get this sort of issue resolved.

For what it's worth, when browsing vehicles on the app, all the images load. Is this just a website issue?

Hi @DaneB We have raised this via the normal support process but when we call the advisors say they can only speak to us if we are a Vodafone customer. Although we are not a Vodafone customer our customers who use Vodafone are having the issues.

Can we raise this via another method?

Hey @AutotraderUK! Our Specialists said this isn't on any of their content control lists. As far as they can see, the domain is resolving normally. Is the problem still happening?
