Was told by Customer service it should give me speeds of 150-200MBPs down and a very strong upload speed for my postcode.. lovely i thought so i go and pay £50 a month for it.
i plug it in and well. i get constant internet loss. 5G is virtually non existent and i get about 10mbps down and 1.5mbps up on average, tried contacting vodafone briefly today to be batted off to the Gigacube team when its nothing to do with the box its down to Vodaphones poor signals for my area even though their website says it should all be super fast and all strong connections ( tried the box at a friends house and i get the super fast speeds i was told i should get... but its no good having it at a friends house and not my own but i know the box is fine)
So does anyone have any possible tips on improving this ? was looking at areal boosters ? anyone got any suggestions, will be getting onto Vodafone again tomorrow to see if they fancy sorting the issue out but fully expecting them to bat me off to the gigacube team when the box is fine.

Hi @joshy9096 I'm sorry to hear of the signal vs speed issues your getting with the Gigacube.
Fringe coverage / Not Spots / Weather and Mast Congestion etc can all play a part with speeds / signal connection.
May I suggest There might be some good tips via conducting a forum search and or Google Search.
There is some threads on the forum involving Gigacubes and speeds.
When someone is thinking of joining Vodafone or moving to a new location I always try to suggest first trying out a Vodafone Payg sim card where they Live , work and commute to try out signal and speeds in the real world and not make a decision on what the online service checker provides as that page gives an indication of service but not guaranteed as per what it states on that page.
You could use the template in Network-issues-initial-checks-and-template so the Vodafone Social Media Teams here can collate this information for your area and advise as well as passing this to their Networking Team for due investigation.
I hope in the interim your user experience improves.

Hey @joshy9096, please follow the sound advice given by @BandOfBrothers.
Just to add on - if you are within your first 14 days of joining us you can cancel your contract with no early exit fee. We would hate to see you leave but I can understand the circumstances.

The template is for phones and doesn't seem to be for Gigacubes / broadband
Twitter team has tried a 'fix' which hasn't worked, will give them a few more days to attempt a fix before going to the store to cancel my contract as i was told my postcode and location was between 150 and 200mb yet im lucky to get a constant 50mb its usually 10mb when i do a speed check
