Huawei CPE Pro with IPV6

Hi All,
I currently have a Huawei H107######### router (also known as a Huawei 5G CPE Pro) on Vodafone.

I have this connected to my Draytek Vigor 2860.

The issue that I have is that I am unable to ping any public IPV6 addresses from any of my LAN devices.

Furthermore, from the Huawei web interface itself under 'Diagnostics' I get a Failed response when I try to ping ipv6.google.com but success for google.com

Any ideas please?

Can you confirm that IPV6 has been fully enabled in your area, in some parts of the country even on Vodafone FTTP it hasn't yet been enabled!  It's not uncommon that devices will show a fake IPv6 address at least until IPv6 has been fully implemented by the ISP!

The easy way to test this is usually to ping your IPv6 DNS server - if you have an IPv6 connection they will usually reply unless you spam them and get blacklisted!

Thanks Keith,

I worked out that IPV6 has not been fully enabled in my area.
