I have a raspberry pi running at home and had port forwarding setup so I could login to it remotely. This has stopped working recently.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Don't think you are the first to report this recently!

Check that the router hasn't lost the port forwarding (turning the forwarding on and off may help)

Check the Raspberry Pi is still on the same local IP address

If you are using a DDNS then just check that the IP it's sending you to is indeed your external IP address.

If the router has had a decent firmware update then try power-cycling the router.

It may be a bug in the VF modem/router, but it's certainly not anything that is blocked by the Vodafone network itself!

My bad. I have a script which updates a dns record with my external ip. This was supposed to run periodically using crontab but I messed the entry up and it wasn't running at all so the up changed and the a record was pointing to someone else's home!
