Hi, Can someone please help me with setting up the FTP server on my vodafone hub,

I have attached a usb to the hub and it works fine with the local network in the home,

But if i try to setup the FTP server in the vodafone router setting page it doesn't even give me the option to setup FTP server, The only option under sharing setting is Samba On and DLNA on,

Seems like there are some setting that i cannot access, Can someone please help?

Thanks

From your query it doesn't sound like you have the THG3000. It doesn't have any of those settings.

Sorry it does, but why would you think it would have FTP?

Hi

Excellent, so where is your FTP site going to be hosted?

Not a fan of Go-Daddy myself, and the .eu domains are no longer feasible,

https://hostingfacts.com/cheap-web-hosting/

Then hopefully they can give you some support as part of the package.

If you are hosting it locally then I suspect you are going to need a fixed IP and be very very careful about siphoning the 10/20 Mbps upload speed you have to uploaders.

Else a tunnel for when you are travelling, (https://uk.pcmag.com/encryption/4328/the-best-free-vpns)

to access a machine / device you have.

OR I am completely wrong about your circumstances.
