Router Connections

3: Seeker

My Vodafone router HH2500 has 4 output sockets.

Maybe a dumb question, but are these sockets internet data output only? Or can it work as a network switch?

So, for example, can I connect my PC and my networked printer directly to two of the router sockets and they will communicate.?  Or is proper network switch the right option?

Just trying to reduce some cable clutter.

Thanks

Ian

YES I believe so.

Best to fix/reserve the IP addresses if you can for both devices.
