I was signed up to the Big Value Bundle for a couple of months. 

This is what I thought it was

• The £20 was taken from your account
• When you had used up all your alloted minutes, texts, data and credit, you had no credit left to call or text anybody - and would only be able to receive texts or calls. 

I cancelled two months ago, before moving abroad.

My parents house yesterday received a letter from a debt-collection agency called Lowell Portfolio, for me, saying that they are going to come and collect my £60 debt.

I never heard of this over-expenditure before. I received no letter or email from vodafone. 

Is it possible to rack up this debt on the big value bundle? Is it likely that they would send it to a debt collection agency without contacting me first? And does anybody have experience with this agency and do you know if its genuine, and what I should do?

Payg Big Value Bundle. 

You top up and this credit is used to pay for the allowances that lasts 30 days that come with the big value bundle. 

A debt as far as I'm aware cannot be run up as it depends on you topping up. 

If you don't top up and have no credit on your Payg account then you can't make calls,send texts or use data. 

Are you 100% sure it was payg and not a sim only contract etc. 

Live Chat is primarily for use in the UK but has been known to work abroad from a computer. 

A good tip if abroad is : If possible download the Skype app and add perhaps £3.99 credit to call from that.
