PAYG Sim Re-activation

Hello

I'm trying to re-activate my old PAYG sim card. Is it possible to do this, and if yes, how?

Currently the sim is not detecting any networks, though I had money in the account.

Facebook have hit me with a "security check", whereby they send a code to this old sim, and I key in the code to get access to my Facebook account back (I've been locked out of it for weeks!). But I haven't used this sim in months so it seems to have went dead.

Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated!

TMatt

Hi @TMatt

The Terms and Conditions for Payg inactivity say if a SIM card hasn't been used to make calls, top up etc in 180 days then after an additional 90 days Vodafone can suspend the number and terminate the Payg account.

Once this is performed a person has a very short window of opportunity to have it re activated.

We are talking a day or so after it's been turned Off.

The mobile number is quarantined and put back in the number pool to be re issued at a later date.

Any Payg credit is lost.

You would be best speaking to customer services on 191 or Live Chat who can officially clarify the status of the account.
