Pay as you go

Prepay for the year

1: Seeker

I’m moving to Scotland from

the US for grad school. Would I be able to pay for an entire year upfront as I won’t be able to work as much while I’m there.

Payg top up credit will last on the phone as long as the payg number is used every 180 days to make calls and send texts etc on a Vodafone UK Account.

However I would suggest topping up per month to what your going to use and not large amounts just incase you lose the phone or sim card or someone gets access to your account and uses the topped up credit.

Payg costs on Vodafone can be pretty low especially if a person is using payg1 or a big value bundes.

If your planning to use your own phone then ensure it'll accept a Vodafone UK Payg sim card and it supports the bands and frequencies the Vodafone UK network uses.
