Recover an old number

I had an old PAYG number from years ago, it has probably been quarantined by now. Customer services seem unable to help or advise further?

Is it possible to recover it? If so I would be most grateful and more than happy to pay a fee!

This is a question that pops up every now and again @LukeJinkerson

Unfortunately if a Vodafone Payg Number has been deactivated and then quarantined as a result of non usage after 180 days + 90 days then there's only a very short period of time to try and have the number reassigned.

Typically a day or so.

What happens if you try and ring it ?

If Vodafone Customer services are unable to reassign it then it's more than likely lost to you.

It's not a matter of paying a fee.

You could try Vodafone Social Media on Facebook Twitter and link back to tour thread here along with your username.

However if customer services can't help then the Vodafone Social Media Teams only have access to the same systems.

I wish you all the best with this situation.

If I dial it, I get a message saying you've dialled an incorrect number... not good news I assume?

That possibly supports the thinking that the number has been taken out of use and quarantined @LukeJinkerson
