Hi, after a google search on other websites it looked like tethering was available on PAYG, but I just found a recent forum post saying it is NOT available for PAYG customers, just pay monthly. I just completed a live chat with a Vodafone rep who said it is available (I was very specific in asking - can I tether on a PAYG bundle?). So, now I'm confused. Can someone please confirm which is correct?
Thanks!

This worked for me, thanks! Tethering no longer worked after upgrading to iOS 11, whereas it had worked before.

Permitted for PAYG, and I do it from time to time - always on Android phones, although there may be a few models on which tethering isn't possible. It also appears from the discussion above that it is now possible on iPhones as well as Android.
In some dim and distant past it wasn't permitted, but I have absolutely no idea why a piece of ancient history should still be regarded as gospel.
TETHERING IS PERMITTED AND PERFECTLY POSSIBLE ON PAYG.
