After cntacting call centre to reset voicemail, as soon as I set up voicemail again, when I try to put in a new security code, voicemail is immediately blocked.

Have you tried turning it off and on since the reset.
This may help.
If not the Call Centre maybe able to.

Customer Services should have given you a temporary PIN. You need to use this temporary PIN to log into your voicemail.
As soon as you have managed to access your voicemail using the temporary PIN, please follow the prompts to set up a new four digit memorable PIN of your choice.
I voicemail feature which can be useful is slam down notifications. When the phone is turned off and someone reaches your voicemail and hangs up, Vodafone will send you a text notification.

Sorry I meant voicemail itself not the phone.

Yes I am having the same problem, you would think with the recent voicemail hacking scandal they would be on top of this problem
