Can someone confirm what I have been told via the retentions team that 3rd party sellers of vodafone 24m contracts are less of a priority on the vodafone network? Makes absolutely no sense to me.
I do understand that networks that piggyback others like voxi/giffgaff etc do have less priority but is it the actual contract with vodafone as well because it's been sold by mobiles.co.uk and the like?
There is no reason for not taking out a contract via a third party to save yourself some money.
The only problem will be having to take out a new contract with a new number and keeping your original number, this is easily done and the quickest and best way is to PAC the original number out of Vodafone and PAC back in on the new number. Alternatively, but a slower way taking 30 days to complete is asking Vodafone to put the original number on PAYG and transferring the number to the new third party contract.
Just to mention Voxi is part of Vodafone and well worth a look, have some excellent offers at the moment.
No that's simply not true what you've been advised by the agent !
You would get the same network signal and data speeds wether you take a contract out with Vodafone directly or via a 3rd party.
Taking out a contract via a 3rd party sometimes means you get a better deal as the 3rd party gives this to a person from the kickback they get from the network for opening an account.
The only downside is discounts such as VEA Employers discount isn't available unless a contract is taken out directly via Vodafone.
