Alleged default on 6 year old account

Hi,

I closed my one an only account with Vodafone 6 years ago and paid EVERYTHING that was due.  I was then asked to pay another £11.00, I queried this, never got an answer and was never contacted again.

Now it's ruining my credit rating which was 969, fallen to 700 and something awful.  I've been on the Voadafone online chat and on the phone to customer services for hours and the best I could get was an email, which I had to tell the chap what to write, saying I don't owe any money.  No email signature, no nothing - it hardly looks officical.

Its almost impossible to get through on the phone because I don't have and don't want any Vodafone services, I want my credit file corrected ASAP.  Please could someone actually help me properly?

Thank you

This help post I wrote may help you @Sarahlou2907 Default-on-your-Credit-File-And-How-to-add-a-Notice-of-Correction.

The Vodafone Community Forum has Social Media Teams who read all posts and engage to help where they can.

I appreciate and understand how damaging a default and or marker can be ,and the difficulty in having one removed from a Credit File

Http://www.experian.co.uk should be able to help and advise too.

Best of luck.
