Annoying Customer Service Reps

Why do customer service reps not listen to what the customer is saying.

After an upgrade going thru as a normal sale, i contacted customer service, i spoke to one rep who was excellent, then he passed me to the upgrade team to sort the issue out.

Was asked for a delivery address, i said i want to collect it in-store.

he said he can't do it in store only delivery.

i said thats not an option and he asked for a neighbour to sign for it ect.

the conversation went around in circles with him getting insistant about a neighbour signing for it.

in the end i had to stop him and asked if he understood what i was saying.

one of the most annoying, ignorant people i have ever come across

Hi @gachjoel

Click-and-Collect which is chosen at the process stage allows a person to collect their phone from the store as its sent there instead of a home address.

I would think if a person wants to change their delivery options then they may need to cancel what’s been created and start all over again.

Or you could cancel and do this all in the Highstreet Store and take a phone from their pool of stock.

Asking a neighbour to sign for the phone is one workaround to the issue although that’s not something I’d be personally keen on doing.
