Blocked by Securenet

Hi,

One of our sites has been blocked by SecureNet, possibly due to a problem experienced in May/June this year. The issue was resolved, but it is still being blocked by Securenet.:

http://t.marketing1.william-reed.com

Could you please forward this to the Securenet team and ask them to remove the site from the Securenet blacklist?

Thanks,

WRmailer.

Hi @WRmailer

I am using BT Internet with McAfee internet security. When I click on your site link it is blocked and I get the following;

Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from t.marketing1.william-reed.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more

NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

Not too sure if your problem is due to secure net.

Hi AnnS,

Thanks for your post. Yes, it looks like if you simply try and go to http://t.marketing1.william-reed.com it is trying to automatically redirect to https://t.marketing1.william-reed.com, but it's being secured with an HTTPS certificate from Adobe Campaign which doesn't match the name.

Valid pages on http://t.marketing1.william-reed.com redirect successfully to the target location without any certificate error, but I agree that this may be contributing to the problem so I'll look into it as well.

Sadly Vodafone Securenet is blocking the site regardless, so we do still need to try and get that resolved by Vodafone.

Thanks again for posting,

WRmailer.

Hi @WRmailer

Sorry. Still get the same error on all links.  Must be quite a concern for you, hope you get it sorted to enable site access.

@WRmailer We've recently had a comm back from our SecureNet team, they've now confirmed your site has been reclassified and shouldn't be restricted by SecureNet. Please can you trial this further and get in touch if you're still seeing the same error?

Hi Josh,

Thanks for your response. We've re-tested this and unfortunately we're still being blocked by SecureNet. A member of our staff has a Vodafone mobile so that's how we're testing. When trying to go to that site (http://t.marketing1.william-reed.com) he's still getting a "Blocked by SecureNet" message.

Could you ask the SecureNet team to take another look please?

In the mean time we are working with Adobe to get them to apply a valid HTTPS certificate so that it will work correctly over HTTPS as well.

Thanks Josh.

Hi @WRmailer, sorry for the delay here! I've tested the site from my side too and am getting the error "The requested URL was not found on this server". Is the link you've provided still valid? If so, please can you pop us a screenshot over of the error you're seeing when trying to access the site through our mobile data services as this should no longer be blocked.

Hi Tash,

Thank you, I'm happy to confirm that HTTPS links to t.marketing1.william-reed.com are working once again. We tested it with a valid click-through URL and it successfully redirected to our website news article without being blocked by SecureNet.

Thanks for all your help in getting this one resolved.

Hi @WRmailer thanks for letting us know and happy to hear everything is now working as it should. I will make sure your thanks is passed on to @Tash 😊
